He completed an Internal Medicine internship at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC from 1989 – 1990. He completed a Dermatology residency at Emory University Hospital , Atlanta, GA from 1990-1993 and a Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN from 1993-1994.
