Lee County Medical Society CME Day 2024

  • This is open to the medical public - non member physicians, visiting physicians, administrators, etc.

The Lee County Medical Society will host a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Day at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Bell Tower, Fort Myers, FL on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 7:30am - 1:00pm.

This educational event is open to all physicians, MDs and DOs.
Earn up to 5 CMEs!

Great networking opportunity. Refreshments will be served.

The following six courses will be offered:

8am-10am: Controlled Substances with Walter Flesner, DO (2 credits AOA / AMA)

8am-10am: Domestic Abuse and Human Trafficking with Brad Grot, PhD, NCC and Julie Bankston, Abuse Counseling & Treatment, Inc. (2 AOA credits)

10am - 11am: How Experienced Physicians Negotiate an Employment Agreement with Ben Assad Mirza, Esq., Arbitrator,  formerly CPA, CHC Partner (1 AOA credit)

10am-Noon: Medical Errors with Patti L. Ellis, RN, BSN, CPHRM, FASHRM 
 (2 AOA/AMA credits ) 

11am - 1pm: How to Save a Life: Expanding Access to Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder with Samuel Parrish, MD (2 AOA credits, can be used for DEA credits)

Noon-1pm: Business Regulations and Medical Ethics with Ben Assad Mirza, Esq., Arbitrator, formerly CPA, CHC Partner (1 AOA credit)

$50 for LCMS Members
$125 for non LCMS members
